1. What is this website about?

Module-Review is a community-powered website where students can review and read about modules offered academic institutions. By reading off the first-hand experiences from past students, one can make a better informed decision when choosing his or her module.

2. Is Module-Review.com free?

Yes! Module-Review.com will always be free for browsing and reviewing modules. Our website is 100% supported by advertisements and sponsors.

3. Who uses Module-Review.com?

Students, teachers…maybe principals?

4. Who is behind Module-Review.com?

Module-Review was first started by a NUS student as a small community project, and has currently expanded to a small team of similar-minded students.

5. How do I publish my reviews to Facebook or Twitter?

Yes! Just click on the share icons to the left of your review and select the site where you’d like to share it on.

6. Do you have reviews for other schools?

We are currently working on expanding to other educational institutions in Singapore as part of our next step in improving your experience on Module-Review.

7. Do reviews ever get removed?

We may remove a review if it violates our Terms of Service. If you would like to remove a review, please contact us via the Contact page linked at the top of the site.

8. What are the little icons on the Module Browser about?

The icons you see when browsing modules are what we call “Module Sorters”. Mouseover to see what they are, and you can click on them to sort modules based on different variables.

9 .How do I verify my account?

Registration through Facebook is a one-click process and does not require verification. If you register via the signup form, an email will first be sent to you to verify your ownership of the email address, followed by another email which will contain your temporary password.

10. How do I verify my enrollment?

Click on (edit) beside your profile name on the top right corner of the website and enter your institution email address in the field provided. A verification link will be sent to you to verify your ownership of the email address, which will allow you to post reviews on modules from the school which the email address is associated to.

11. How do I close my account?

Please contact us via the Contact page linked to the top of the site to delete your account.

12. Why don’t I have friends on my account?

Friends are only showed on Facebook-registered accounts. If you signed up through Facebook and do not see any friends, chances are they haven’t signed up for Module-Review.com yet (let them know!).

13. What do you do with my personal information?

We hate spam as much as you do. We will only use your email address to send you occasional updates via email.

14. I want to advertise on Module-Review.com!
